New generation Miniature Circuit Breakers
are setting the standard in tripping technology. Magnetic tripping
mechanisms create heat, which consumes power. We have dissipated
the heat efficiently and thereby reduced long term energy use.
The new style din rail clip enables the MCB’s to be removed easily
and quickly from the din rail without the need to remove the busbar
from the remaining fixed modular devices. The MCBs will accept
both pin and fork busbar, the tube terminals have a capacity of 25mm.
The whole range has a switch position indicator colour coded green
for ‘ON’ and red for ‘OFF’. If the MCB trips due to short circuit
or overload, the red indicator will show. To reset the MCB, it must
first be switched to the ‘OFF’ position.

Type B 6kA range
Used to provide protection and control of circuits against
overload and short circuit in domestic installations.
Manufactured to BSEN 60898 the single pole version is used
extensively in all our consumer boards.
